Women in Medicine

Alumnae Han Pham Schmidly ’98, M.D., and Rija Siddiqui ’12, M.D., returned to campus in September 2018 to participate in a Women in Medicine Symposium hosted by the Austin College Posey Leadership Institute. Dr. Schmidly is the CEO of Wound Integrity and medical director of Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine at Medical City in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Siddiqui is completing her residency and internship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she is a pediatric specialist. The women, along with their colleague Dr. Sally Goudreau, also spoke with students interested in health science careers. Jenny King ’92, director of public affairs at UT Southwestern Medical Center, accompanied the physicians to campus.
