For the first time in program history, the Austin College women’s basketball team has won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship after defeating top-seeded Trinity 76-67 on Sunday afternoon on the campus of Schreiner University. The ‘Roos are now 23-4 overall as they head into the NCAA Tournament, with their first round opponent set to be announced on Monday afternoon.
