The Austin College Wind Symphony will present an online-only concert April 28, 2021, at 7:30 p.m., viewable on the Austin College Department of Music Facebook page. Alan Harkey, Austin College’s director of bands, also directs the Wind Symphony.
This Spring Concert program will include a variety of works, including “La Morisque” from The Danserye by Tielman Susato and Fred J Allen; “Three English Folk Songs, 1. Blackbirds and Thrushes” by Fred J. Allen; “Pageant” by Vincent Persichetti; “The Free Lance March” by John Philip Sousa; “La Tregenda” by Giacoma Puccini and Brian Beck; “Sheltering Sky” by John Mackey; and “Midway March” by John Williams.
