Members of the Austin College Class of 2020 have waited a long time to cross the stageto receive their diplomas due to COVID restrictions that prevented large gatherings last May when they completed their degrees.
By now, many in the class have moved all across the country to begin careers and graduate and professional school programs, but for the graduates that can make it to campus, the time for some pomp and circumstance has arrived.
The Class of 2020 graduates will process and take part in all aspects of the ceremony along with the Class of 2021. While the Class of 2021 will receive diplomas, the Class of 2020 will be called forward for individual recognition. The graduates’ diplomas were mailed to them last spring.
